When you’re in Antwerp and you’re looking for a great breakfast place, you should go to Le Royal Café at the Central Station. It’s refined, delicious and plenty to fill your tummy. Don’t hesitate to order the big breakfast; coffee or tea, freshly squeezed orange juice, a boiled egg, bacconcini mozarella/tomato, smoked ham with a honey mustard dressing, Quiche Lorraine, salmon with dill yogurt, préparé, cottage cheese with strawberries, a croissant, small baguettes, jam and Nutella.
The restaurant itself looks absolutely amazing with its marble decorated walls and the contemporary fine maple wood paneling inspired by the brasseries from the good old days. Loved having breakfast here!
