5 reasons why you must visit the Algarve (you don’t need more)

The Algarve in Portugal is the perfect destination if you want to escape the start of autumn with days getting colder, shorter and darker. With its 300 days of sunshine a year it is one of sunniest places of Europe. But the Algarve has way more to offer besides the consistent weather. Its captivating coastline consisting of golden beaches surrounded by the most sensational cliffs and huge rough rocks rising from the bluest ocean is a feast for the eyes.

Photos of Casa de Pilatos that will dazzle you forever

Casa de Pilatos was the first place I visited after my arrival in Sevilla and it bedazzled me immediately. I was already in awe after visiting the Real Alcazar two years ago, but never did I imagine to stumble upon more of these architectural pearls in Sevilla. I was already intrigued by the Mudejar style, so I wanted to capture photos of all the buildings and rooms in this style. Not only as an inspiration for decorating my place, but also to inspire others to go there!

Tips for Krka NP: what you should know before your visit

Krka NP is the second most famous national park of Croatia, after Plitvice Lakes. Both parks are home to incredible lakes and waterfalls. The big difference is that you can actually swim at Krka! Where to find Game of Thrones filming locations in Dubrovnik

It’s not a secret Dubrovnik is an important filming location for Game of Thrones, one of the biggest TV series ever made. These days tourists from all over the world are coming to Dubrovnik, trying to find all the spots that were used as a decor for the series’ scenes. Many tour operators offer guided Game of Thrones tours, but if you do a little research, it’s quite easy to find these locations by yourself. At least that’s what I’ve done and it spared me a lot of money! These are the locations I found while wandering around Dubrovnik!

Diocletian's Palace Split

Spark your wanderlust with these photos of Diocletian’s Palace in Split

Diocletian’s Palace forms an important part of Split’s old city center. It’s not just a building that is a palace. It’s rather a town within a town. The palace consists of Diocletian’s living quarters, temples to worship the gods, a cathedral, cellars, the peristyle and many narrow alleyways. Everything is surrounded by the old city walls containing 4 gates.

One day in Cordoba, the ultimate guide to plan your day trip

I spend one day in Cordoba during my trip to Sevilla and I was in complete awe. It was even better than I imagined! Cordoba is the city where East meets West and is one of the most diverse cities I’ve ever visited. The typical Spanish white alleys, decorated with colorful flower pots, are surrounded by exquisite gems of Islamic architecture. This is the place where Muslims, Christians and Jews once lived peacefully side by side.

The ultimate quick guide to Å ibenik

Å ibenik, the oldest Croatian city on the Adriatic coast, was added to my Croatia itinerary because it’s only half an hour from the Krka NP and it was also used in Game of Thrones as the decor for Braavos. Even though Å ibenik has a rich culture and a great location (between the popular cities of Zadar & Split), it’s not crowded with tourists.

Hotel Las Casas de la Juderia | An Andalusian Escape in Sevilla | Review

The Hotel Las Casas de la Juderia in Sevilla is one of the most unique hotels I ever experienced. The hotel truly is a feast for the eyes. It consists of 27 Andalusian town houses linked by patios and passageways. When walking through the hotel you pass gorgeous courtyards and gardens, decorated by countless flower pots and fountains. You feel as if you entered the 15th century.
