Taking photos of yourself isn’t always easy as a solo traveler. You can ask a bystander to take the picture for you, but those are often the worst pictures, except if you’re lucky to catch someone with a great eye or they are willing to listen to your instructions on how to take the photo. You can take a selfie, but most of the time it only shows your face and it’s way too close, so you’ll look fat and malformed. And honestly, I don’t like the standard selfie at all.
